If you are seeking Medicare subsidised sessions, book a Long Consultation with your GP to request a Mental Health Care Plan and a referral letter. If you would prefer to see one of our Mental Health GPs, who can provide an update to your regular doctor, contact our friendly Admin Team to book an appointment. GPs can also provide WorkCover and TAC referrals, and we also see clients under NDIS or privately without a referral. Contact Admin to discuss these options.
You can reach our Admin Team by phone or email - whichever way you would prefer. If your GP referral information needs to be added to our system, we will ask you to provide a copy. Our Admin will ask a few details to set you up in our system (e.g., full name, address, contact email and phone). They will outline fees and charges, and then email you a link to complete our secure online Intake Questionnaire.
Our secure online Intake Questionnaire asks you to provide brief details about what you would like to achieve in therapy, the issues you are currently facing, your past positive and negative experiences when working with therapists, and any other information that might be relevant. The information you provide, as well as other information we might have from your GP, is considered carefully by one of our senior psychologists, to make a decision about who you might be best placed with. It is our goal to place you with the most suitable clinician to help with your concerns. If you have a preferred clinician, please do let us know. Finally, we will collect payment details and provide you with clear information about our service, fees and out-of-pocket costs and outline how you can contact us. Some of these details can be found in the New Patient Handout below.
Expect to be contacted by us within a week of completing your online Intake Questionnaire. Our Admin will let you know which clinician Olivia has advised you might be best placed with and book your first appointments. Appointments can be conducted by Zoom or by phone. If you would like to test your setup prior to your first appointment, just let Admin know and they will arrange a practice session. Your appointment link is emailed to you three days prior to each session, and Admin can help you troubleshoot any issues you encounter.
