GETTING STARTED

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Our team will guide you through the process and make getting support as simple and straightforward as possible.

1. Speak with your gp (if using medicare)

If you would like to access Medicare-rebated sessions, book a Long Consultation with your GP to request a Mental Health Care Plan and a referral. 


Referrals are not required for private clients. We also accept referrals for WorkCover, TAC, NDIS, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients. Please contact Admin to discuss these options.

2. Complete our intake questionnaire

You can complete this step either before or after you have your referral.


This questionnaire will take about 20 minutes to complete and asks for brief information about:


  • What you would like help with
  • Your current concerns
  • Any previous experiences with therapy
  • Other information that may help us understand your needs


We'll also collect payment details and provide clear information about our service and policies.


Once submitted, your information will be carefully reviewed by a senior psychologist to match you with the clinician best suited to support you. If you have a preferred clinician, please let us know. 


If you have any questions, please contact our friendly Admin Team by phone or email on weekdays between 9.30am and 3pm.

3. Booking your first appointment

Our Admin Team will contact you within approximately one week of receiving your completed Intake Questionnaire. They will let you know which clinician has been recommended and schedule your first appointments.


 Most sessions are delivered via telehealth (video or phone). If you would like to test your setup beforehand, our Admin Team can arrange a brief practice session. Your appointment link will be emailed to you three days before each session.


A limited number of face-to-face appointments are available in Mansfield, Victoria. Please let us know if you would prefer an in-person session and we will advise on availability.
