EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential support service provided by employers to assist staff in managing personal or work-related challenges.

Services typically include short-term counselling, professional guidance, referrals, and support during critical incidents in the workplace.

The aim of an EAP is to promote emotional wellbeing, build resilience, and intervene early when issues begin to impact productivity, attendance, or job performance.

PARTNERING WITH COLLECTED MINDS

Grounded in Rural Experience

Collected Minds has deep roots in Victoria’s High Country. We are born of the bush and proud to deliver care that is genuinely attuned to the complexities and strengths of rural life.

Continuity of Care Matters

When additional support is needed, employees can continue seeing their Collected Minds clinician under a GP Mental Health Care Plan or through private billing—ensuring seamless, ongoing support.

Trusted by Regional Workplaces

We are proud to provide EAP services to:

• Kellock Lodge, Alexandra

• Mansfield Shire Council

• Mansfield District Hospital

• Mt Buller Ski Lifts

We understand the needs of rural employers and will work with you to design an EAP tailored to your team.

What an Effective EAP Looks Like at Collected Minds

In rural and regional settings, distance, isolation, and limited local services can make timely access to skilled mental health support even more critical. That’s why our EAP model is:

• 100% Telehealth-based – No travel, no waiting rooms. Access confidential support via Zoom or phone, from anywhere.

• Rural-focused – Our clinicians are highly experienced in working with rural and remote clients, including agricultural workers, healthcare professionals, educators, and local government staff.

• Flexible – Whether you have 10 staff or 200, we can scale our services to suit your team’s size and budget.

• Timely & Compassionate – We aim to schedule sessions within one to two weeks of contact and will prioritise urgent needs when possible.

• Proactive & Preventative – Our clinicians help staff build emotional resilience and healthy work habits—supporting wellbeing before crises arise. One of the most common concerns brought to EAP services is workplace bullying.
